Roles & Responsibilities
- Interface effectively and establish quick credibility and confidence with: Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Direct Customers.
- Manage the product roadmap & backlog of our key Event Meetings products.
- Develop new features and functionality in partnership with Engineering.
- Provide customer use-case examples to Engineering and be the primary bridge between customer feedback and market requirements with Engineering.
- Work closely with User Experience to ensure that all products are highly intuitive and easy-to-use.
- Work with Marketing to develop material for multiple products or service launches including press releases, launch materials, customer presentations, videos, and training materials for Sales and Customer Success.
- Be a terrific team player - as the Product Manager, you will be playing a central role on a SCRUM team. You will be expected to attend daily stand-ups and collaborate with the team on a daily basis.
- Collaborating cross-functionally on competitive analysis, pricing, market development and field solutions.
Requirements for Product Manager
Experience and complete working knowledge of all aspects of product management:
- Product Evangelization
- Roadmap and Backlog management, requirement analysis, user story writing
- Working with user experience
- Competitive analysis
- Product marketing (website, social media - LinkedIn)
- Sales enablement (collateral, presentations)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies - preferably SCRUM.
- A strong sense of ownership - ideally has owned one or more products before and has a track record of managing that product(s) for the US and/or European markets
- Start-up experience. Candidate should have a willingness to - roll up one's sleeves- and do whatever it takes to build a successful product.
- Excellent communications skills: the ability to write clear and concise user stories and documents; the ability to really listen to customers and their needs; and the ability to present and demo products to external parties, including customers and partners
- Posses adept business knowledge, organizational abilities, and analytic reasoning - should be capable of bridging customer business requirements to technical feature set and broader market trends, indices, and capabilities.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with a technical or product management background working for product companies.
- 2 to 3 years experience in owning SaaS or cloud-based products specifically in B2B domain - ERP, CRM, Productivity tools, etc.
- Graduate from a reputed university or college with a good GPA. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
