Delivery :

Key focus areas :

- Compiles and reports departmental metrics and dashboards. Presents metrics to Management.

- Collaborates with legal, PMG and product teams to ensure all agreement terms are fully understood and obligations are documented.

- Develops and implements organization processes for managing and tracking embedded third party components in JDA Products.

- Manages and reports on third party licenses utilized by the R&D group. Reviews purchasing forecast report and following up with vendors for quotes on renewals.

- Works with development teams to manage and optimize usage of resources.

- Collaborates with vendors, legal, PMG, and internal teams on the renewal of product licenses and agreements. Negotiates with vendors to obtain best prices in support of fiscal goals and objectives. Tracks all agreements through completion to ensure they are processed and executed on time and within guidelines.

Additional focus areas :

- Assists Operations Directors with the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for the PD Operations group; creates & maintains associated materials. Formats and publishes the final approved documents

- Assists Operations Directors in developing overall strategy/continuous improvement initiatives. Assists in implementing processes for the department.

- Assists in the development and maintenance of training materials on internal tools/processes. Provides in person training, as necessary.

- Identifies process improvements and recommends changes to leadership. May serve as a lead team member on the implementation of these changes.

- Acts as the lead in roll out of any new tools/processes to Product Development. Assigns User IDs, coordinates data collection and occasionally trains users.

- Reviews purchasing forecast report with procurement and following up with vendors for quotes on renewals.

Functional Aptitude :

- Demonstrable track record of being the "Go to" person for third party related questions within the organization. Should be considered a SME on major areas of the domain

- Has proven the ability to engage with internal customers to gather and refine high level direction that was given from management

Technical Aptitude :

- Is familiar with tools and databases and working with data from multiple sources to build standard automated reports. This should include excel and at least one standard reporting tool.

- Familiarization with BlackDuck software for tracking third party components. Ability to generate reports in Blackduck as needed.

Communication and Leadership :

- Works with minimum supervision and with general high level guidance and complete all assigned tasks within the specified time and quality guidelines

- Makes functional decisions with some guidance while collecting input from all stakeholders (PMG, architecture, development, etc.).

- Communicates project status, processes, and third-party licensing details to any level within the company.
