Position Description

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Enhancing capability of organization in delivering Quality Products consistency to customers.

- Institutionalizing Business Excellence in manufacturing processes through Lean TPM tools.

- Drive Strategic Improvement Projects for achieving targeted Business results.

- Drive Improvement Projects through methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance, TQM and Asset optimization.

- Develop and implement Green Manufacturing initiatives.

- Responsible for tracking all the improvement projects of Manufacturing Excellence & Organisational thrust areas.

- Transform the entire organization for World Class Manufacturing.

- Manage training and development of company and vendor personnel by organizing programs on Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and various technical and behavioural areas.

- Implemented TPM in all units using JIPM model.

- Implement 5S framework and check for sustainability in departments.

- Monthly Overall Equipment Effectiveness analysis of constraint lines and bottleneck areas to identify losses and drive improvement projects.

- Conduct idea generation and evaluation session frequently with respect to quality/ cost/ productivity/ process/safety etc.

- Central compilation of all completed projects and financial impact achieved for tracking of savings.

- Focus on reduction of waste, variability and inflexibility of 3M (Man, material, method) to increase value added portion of work, efficiency of people, profitability and customer satisfaction respectively.

- Conduct time and motion study of man/ material to optimize the productivity time and simplify Perform rejection analysis and provide support to production team by identifying the source of rejection and providing alternatives to increase the yield of products.

- Gather the ideas generated from departments and sections and update status.

Professional requirements:

- At least 20 overall work experience with a minimum of last 5 years as Functional Head leadership role.

- Rich experience of Manufacturing Excellence.

- Demonstrated ability to function and lead effectively in a large family owned business environment.

- Fluent in English & Hindi. International experience and being multilingual with other local/international languages will be appreciated.

Personal attributes:

- Black Belt / Green Belt certification is preferred.

- Leadership Skills.

- Experienced with Projects Management, Variant management, Product Life Cycle Management, Global Quality Processes.

- Thorough knowledge of Business Excellence Model.

- Trained on TQM practices and Deming Award
