Java Technology Manager - Mortgage Domain

Pre-requisites:

- Candidate with strong Mortgage domain experience

- should be from good Technology background Pref Java

- Location : Hyderabad

- Java 18 to 20 Yrs ( Java Technology 70%, People Management 30% )

- Direct Reporting- 6-8 and total team 300/400

- Retail Mortgage or Commercial Mortgage

- Technology Hands on

- Currently working in India

Minimum Qualifications:

- Experience in managing development & support teams in Mortgage Domain

- 18-20 years of extensive experience and responsibility in managing technical teams; experience with applications using Java. Managing 300-400 Floks indirectly and will have 6-8 Direct Reportees

- Demonstrate proven ability in managing onsite/offshore application support and maintenace engagements

- Development lifecycle management both in Waterfall, Agile and other models

- Ability to deal with ambiguity (problem resolution, judgment, negotiation & decision making skills)

- Ability to actively engage business/technology partners, present, defend & challenge technical recommendations

- Strong demonstrated human relations skills to select, coach, develop, mentor,performance manage and reward employees

- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across organizational lines and with virtual team members; strong relationship building skills.

- Demonstrated ability of adapting to new technologies and having a broader understanding of technologies

- Ability to manage resources, and deliverables on a variety of projects simultaneously, with changing priorities.

- Ability to think logically; excellent problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

- Strong implementation skills; highly organized and self-directed; takes initiative

- Strong Financial acumen to manage budget efficiently.

- Works well in a dynamic, high-pressure environment

- Bachelors degree or higher in technical field or business

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of financial services and consumer banking
