Java Product Architect - Product Development Firm

Looking for a passionate Java Product Architect for a leading Product development company in Performance management space.

Job Description

- Responsible for Implementing PoCs/pilots in emerging areas as requried

- Responsible for Scanning, research and evaluation with focus on identifying opportunities and threats

- Broad scan of emerging technologies leading to deeper evaluation and potential pilots of relevant technologies.

- Architect from scratch a highly scalable, highly available, reliable, and secure and fault tolerant systems with minimal guidance.

- Responsible for Component Design/ Coding/ Unit Testing/ Debugging / Code reviews

- Responsible for designing and architecting medium to complex systems

- Work closely with product engineering teams to ensure that the product can be delivered on schedule and within budget.

Desired Skills

- Minimum of 7- 12 years of experience in Software design, development & architecture.

- Proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies with good experience in concepts like Multi threading, Concurrency, Design Patterns and Collections.

- Hands-on working experience in open source stack such as Spring, Hibernate, Struts, Apache frameworks.

- Good understanding of Web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JS and JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap etc.

- Experience with Agile development methodology & Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC)

- Easily be able to work with multiple technologies; ability to quickly learn new technologies

- Ability to deal with ambiguity and change

- Self-directing

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent degree is preferred.
