Java Architect - IT

Essential Skills :

- In depth knowledge of Java EE and related technologies: Spring Framework, JMS, REST

- Advanced understanding of TDD techniques and proven success in applying them

- Excellent understanding of Agile development practices and proven success with applying them

- Has worked with teams across multiple geographical locations

- Passionate about continuous improvement both at a personal and technical level

- Enjoys training/coaching/mentoring other developers in improving their software engineering skills

- Has a solid understanding of OO principles and application of design patterns

- Comfortable working with stakeholders and business analysts to model problem domains

- Has at least 10 years experience of delivering enterprise applications.

Desirable Skills :

- Experience of implementing domain-driven design concepts

- Is familiar with caching technologies e.g. EHCache, Terracotta, etc

- Has database development experience

Qualifications :

- Degree level education or higher (preferably in software engineering).
