Manager- Civic Learning (iCivics)
- Support Head-Civic Learning in conceiving and documenting the proposition of an Indian version of iCivics.org, as a national platform of civic learning for India's youth
- Landscape global and Indian interventions in civic learning to inform strategy for iCivics
- Engage with youth leaders and civic learning organisations to understand different models currently in practice and their relative pros and cons
- Obtain a deep understanding of technology platforms, lifecycle of development, landscape of vendors, costs and timelines including ongoing maintenance efforts to facilitate choice of appropriate course of action to build iCivics (i.e. outsource vs build in house, and also choice of technology)
- Draw up a plan to synergise existing/legacy program efforts and outputs with proposed iCivics platform in terms of content
- Execute the content plan for iCivics by working with Head-Civic Learning and the program team, collating, curating and creating content as necessary
- Obtain a deep understanding of the target groups for iCivics, mainly teachers and students, and their user behaviour, preferences etc., synthesise learnings and inform product development on an ongoing basis
- Write donor proposals to raise funds for iCivics
- Identify technology partners and assume full responsibility for end-to-end development of the platform
Qualifications and Experience
- A Graduate/Post Graduate in Public Policy/Urban Planning/Education;
- At least 5-6 years of professional work experience in managing education projects/working at the intersection of technology/policy/education

- Existing knowledge of/Ability and willingness to grasp quickly, concepts of the programme, the skeletal framework for the technology platform we intend to build.
- Ability to work with ambiguity
- Persuasive skills to engage with various stakeholders and deliver on programme objectives.
- Strong programme management skills
- Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
- Willingness to extend oneself to accomplish work objectives with tight deadlines, simultaneously pursuing excellence
- Positive attitude, flexibility and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
