Jain Industrial Solutions - Senior Manager - Operations & Strategy

We are launching a B2C brand in India relating to Auto sector. Having raised Angel investment, we are actively looking for dynamic people to join the leadership team. Moving fast towards launch, we want people who can expedite the process and then take responsibility of growth and operations in the long run.

DIRECTOR -OPERATIONS

Responsibilities :

As a Director operations, you'll have full ownership of operations and should have ability to manage projects independently. The project responsibility includes but not limited to:

- Reporting to the MD

- Handling overall operations and staff (distribution, client management, administrative etc.)

- Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

- Assist in the management and delivering of new projects

- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges

- Analyze data to make intelligent decisions which may include forecasting

- Proactively assist in the management of portfolio of clients/Dealer network

- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients and products

- Working towards enhancing customer and dealer experience

- Maintain ongoing understanding of emerging market and category trends, competition trends, and emerging macro environment with specific focus on critical - invest- areas and categories

- Work closely with the Marketing & Insights teams, helping them articulate their marketing strategies

Required experience :

- Over 4-7 years experience with a B2C company (Startup or non-startup)/ management consulting company

- Operations experience is big plus but not necessary. Experience in Strategy and business development roles are also welcome

- High on energy, assertive and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

- Should be comfortable working with MS Excel and Powerpoint, Strong problem-solving ability

- Candidate needs to exhibit structured thinking, very strong Analytical Skills, Process Orientation, pro-activeness and ability to take ownership of projects is a must

- Combines business sense with commercial capabilities

- Quickly gains comfort with areas which are unfamiliar

- Team player and leader, open-minded, possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity

- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and add value

- Acts as a role model and mentor to juniors

- Mature demeanor and positive attitude, as well as discretion and sensitivity when dealing with client

- Ability to manage multiple projects & priorities simultaneously

- Comfortable with ambiguity and unpredictable working hours, as expected in a startup

- Fluent in written and spoken English and Hindi
