Jabroyd - Sustainable Finance Expert - Energy Sector

Overview:

Jabroyd, a leading player in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and Sustainability, seeks a dynamic and seasoned Sustainable Finance Expert with in-depth knowledge and experience in sectors of climate financing and low carbon/ energy efficient public/ private fund project management. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in financial modelling, fund allocation and management in the energy sector and will be instrumental in leveraging his skills to drive financial modelling activities w.r.t fund management for energy sector as per the client's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Development Control: Design a robust control mechanism to oversee project development and monitor transaction costs for energy efficiency projects.

Priority Funding Matrix: Construct a matrix and scorecard system for prioritising funding based on strategic considerations.

Market Evaluation: Undertake a comprehensive market assessment of existing and emerging sustainable financial instruments.

Instrument Evaluation: Scrutinise potential sustainable financial instruments for alignment with the Energy Fund's objectives and goals.

Risk and Feasibility Assessment: Analyze and report on the feasibility, advantages, and potential risks linked to each financing source.

Financial Tracking: Implement a Financial Benefit Tracking Mechanism to continually assess and report on the performance of fund investments.

Guidance on Fund Allocation: Offer guidance based on intricate financial models, risk metrics, KPIs, and the fund's overarching objectives.

ROI Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the return on investment of allocated funds, ensuring alignment with the fund's goals.

Preferably has experience in Financial Modelling and Valuation as well as ESG modelling and analysis.

Qualifications & Experience:

- A Masters, MBA, MBA Finance or specialised degree in finance from a recognized institution.

- Additional qualifications such as CA, CFA are highly preferred.

- Proven experience in fund management, especially in the energy sector.

- Proficiency in financial modelling, risk management, and developing KPI metrics.

- Past involvement in monitoring, evaluating, and tracking the ROI of funds.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

- Proficient in financial software and tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to strategize and foresee market trends.

- Detail-oriented and organization centric skills.

Other Requirements:

- Willingness and ability to travel, both domestically within India and internationally.

- Familiarity with the energy landscape in India and knowledge of global energy markets would be an added advantage.
