Jabroyd - Senior Consultant - ESG & Sustainability

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Consultant - ESG & Sustainability (Immediate Joiner) to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for a leader who is deeply committed to advancing ESG principles and sustainability. The successful candidate will have robust hands-on technical experience with ESG Sustainability frameworks, comprehensive knowledge of emissions calculation, and carbon accounting, and a proven track record in ESG strategy development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

ESG Framework Implementation: Lead the adoption and implementation of global ESG Sustainability frameworks such as GRI, CDP, TCFD, SASB, SBTi, DJSI, SDGs, and CSRD. Ensure compliance with certifications from GARP SCR, CFA-ESG, or equivalent.

Emissions Calculation and Carbon Accounting: Oversee the accurate calculation of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Manage all aspects of carbon accounting and reporting, aligning with global standards and best practices.

ESG Benchmarking and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive ESG benchmarking and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and alignment with global sustainability goals.

Strategy Development: Develop and implement a cohesive ESG strategy that incorporates net-zero targets, energy efficiency, sustainable supply chain management, and biodiversity conservation.

Sustainable Finance: Apply knowledge of global sustainable finance frameworks to secure funding and investment for sustainability projects.

Project Management: Lead project management efforts for end-to-end execution and implementation of ESG and sustainability initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability practices, reporting transparency, and continuous improvement in ESG performance.

Qualifications:

- MBAs, Economist or Engineers with background in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy studies, Climate change or related field.

- Minimum 5 to 7 years of technical experience in ESG and sustainability consulting.
