Jabroyd India - Technical Consultant - ESG & Sustainable

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Consultant - ESG & Sustainability, who has strong experience in Sector Agnostic Technical Expertise: Hands-on Technical Experience of ESG Sustainability reporting GRI, BRSR, TCFD, Scope 1,2, 3 Emissions Calculation, GHG Inventory, ESG Benchmarking and Analysis, ESG Strategy Development, Sustainable Finance, Net Zero Target, Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Supply Chain, SBTI Targets, Bio Diversity. Strong Experience in Project Execution/Implementation of end-to-end ESG and sustainability Themes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Expertise: Lead the development, analysis, and reporting of ESG metrics and sustainability KPIs. Understand and apply frameworks like GRI, BRSR, TCFD, and GHG Inventory in reporting.

- Emissions Calculation: Measure and analyze Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Develop strategies for emissions reduction and optimization.

- ESG Benchmarking: Evaluate and benchmark current ESG practices against industry best practices and standards.

- ESG Strategy Development: Formulate and guide the ESG strategy for the organization, ensuring alignment with global sustainability goals and initiatives.

- Sustainable Finance: Provide insights into sustainable financing options and guide the financial team in adopting them.

- Project Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of ESG and sustainability-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the highest standards.

- Net Zero & Energy Efficiency: Guide the organization towards achieving Net Zero targets. Recommend and implement energy efficiency measures.

- Sustainable Supply Chain: Develop and manage a sustainable supply chain strategy, ensuring vendors and partners align with our sustainability goals.

- SBTI Targets & Bio Diversity: Work on setting, meeting, and exceeding Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTI) goals. Advocate for and integrate biodiversity into our sustainability initiatives.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to advance ESG goals.

- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest in ESG and sustainability trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in our projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of technical experience in ESG and sustainability consulting.

- Proven track record in ESG reporting, strategy development, and project execution.

- Hands-on experience with frameworks like GRI, BRSR, TCFD, etc.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
