Position Overview:

The Junior Energy Consultant will be pivotal in furthering the objectives of the Energy Fund Division. With a robust foundation in ISO 50001:2018, ESG & Sustainability, and a deep understanding of the oil & gas sector, the chosen candidate will help craft and implement systems, strategies, and protocols that resonate with our dedication to a greener future.

Key Responsibilities:

- Energy Management Systems: Implement and uphold energy management systems compliant with ISO 50001:2018 standards.

- Industry Analysis: Draw on oil & gas industry exposure to provide actionable insights on evolving trends, challenges, and prospects.

- ESG Expertise: Lead initiatives in ESG sustainability reporting, including GRI, BRSR, TCFD, Scope 1, 2, 3 Emissions Calculation, GHG Inventory, and more.

- Benchmarking & Strategy: Spearhead ESG benchmarking, analysis, strategy development, sustainable finance, and net zero targets.

- Project Execution: Play a vital role in the end-to-end implementation of ESG and sustainability themes, ensuring they are on target and of the highest standards.

- Energy Efficiency: Identify and act on opportunities for improving energy efficiency across operations.

- Sustainability: Advocate and implement strategies for a sustainable supply chain, biodiversity conservation, and adherence to SBTI targets.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with various stakeholders, assimilating data and feedback to ensure harmony between the company's vision and strategies.

- Continuous Learning: Remain abreast of updates in ISO 50001:2018, ESG metrics, and the broader energy landscape, frequently attending relevant workshops, seminars, and training modules.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Energy, Sustainable Finance, or a pertinent field.

- Demonstrable experience in the oil & gas sector, particularly in energy management or consultancy.

- Deep-rooted knowledge of ISO 50001:2018 and comprehensive experience in ESG & Sustainability protocols.

- A proven track record in the execution of ESG projects, from conception to completion.

- Superior analytical, problem-solving, and communication faculties.

- Collaborative mindset conducive to a dynamic and evolving environment.
