About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Energy & Climate Fund Management Expert who will be responsible for creating, developing, and operationalizing energy funds across various industries. This role is pivotal in accelerating climate change mitigation and adaptation initiatives in diverse business contexts, in harmony with national and international climate objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Industry-Specific Framework Development: Customize the foundational structure of the Energy Fund for various industries, incorporating distinct guidelines, policies, and procedures tailored to industry needs.

- Multifaceted Governance Structure: Design and implement a versatile operational and accountability structure that is adaptable to different industries, ensuring alignment with respective sustainability benchmarks and incentivizing top performers.

- Streamlined Mechanisms for E&RM Projects: Craft and optimize methodologies to guide the energy funds for Energy & Resource Management (E&RM) projects across industries, ensuring a cohesive application, evaluation, and approval process.

- Diverse Financial Source Evaluation: Research, identify, and integrate sustainable financial sources suitable for different industry needs and challenges.

- Cross-Industry Energy Fund Launch: Spearhead the inception and commencement of the energy funds tailored to multiple industries.

- Holistic Benchmarking: Conduct comprehensive analyses, comparing funds from similar and cross-industry entities to derive insights and best practices.

- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Build and maintain robust relationships with BUs, departments, and industry-specific partners to ensure alignment of the fund's objectives with broader sustainability aims.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

- A minimum of 3 - 5+ years' experience in climate and energy fund management across diverse industries.

- Documented success in providing consultancy services related to Energy Funds for major corporations and governmental bodies.

- Evidence of spearheading projects of similar scale and scope across multiple industries, with a preference for experience in the Oil & Gas sector or similar.

- Demonstrable proficiency in conceptualizing and rolling out Energy Fund strategies for large-scale, global entities.

- Outstanding analytical, reasoning, research, presentation, and communication prowess.

International travel is required.

Preferred Skills:

- Deep-rooted consulting background in E&RM with cross-industry expertise.

- Comprehensive understanding of international climate agreements and initiatives.

- Acumen in identifying and leveraging sustainable financial mechanisms and sources.

Strong networking and relationship-building aptitude in the energy, climate, and industrial sectors.
