The Lead Business Analyst participates in project planning, project execution and practice leadership.
To support project planning, the Business Analyst works with key stakeholders to identify, define, prioritize and implement projects that deliver value through the implementation of new system functionality, which meet both customer and user expectations.
During Project Planning, the Lead Business Analyst works with Development Lead to facilitate story writing, estimation and to prioritize stories for development
During Development, the Business Analyst identifies customer roles, provides requirements and test cases (in the form of User Stories and Behaviors), reviews developed functionality and showcases functionality to stakeholders;
At the completion of a release, the Business Analyst supports the successful implementation of newly developed functionality by contributing to the development of Release Notes, implementation support documentation and answering implementation queries.
Selection Criteria
- Good written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills.
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
- Business case development.
- Leadership skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Problem solver and thinker
- 1-2 years of work experience as Business Analyst
- Undergraduate qualification in Computer Science/IT
