Launched in 2007, ixigo is an AI-based travel app based in Gurugram, India. ixigo services Indian travellers and their travel utility, planning and booking problems using technology and artificial intelligence. Offering train, flight and bus utility & bookings, the company applies AI for deal discovery, personalized recommendations, airfare predictions & alerts, train delay prediction, PNR confirmation prediction and automated customer service. We're looking to hire a Senior Manager/Manager - Internal Audits, to lead Internal Audit. The role reports to the CFO. What you do : - Prepare an audit plan in consultation with the CFO, Statutory auditors and Audit committee - Execute/ get the audit plan executed as per timelines - Review and documentation of the existing process and suggest areas of improvement. Undertake risk control reviews and suggest mitigation plans to minimize revenue/income leakages, assets misappropriation or inaccurate financial reporting - Develop a thorough understanding of business processes, policies, SOPs and practices in scope for assigned audits and document the processes in flowcharts and/or process narratives. Identify and document inherent risks and controls within the business processes - Develop detailed scope, conduct process walkthroughs, devise risk control matrix, develop/update audit checklist ensuring comprehensive review of the business as well as support functions. - Responsible for presentation and alignment of the results of the audits with the senior management - Coordination with the external auditors (statutory and internal) and internal stakeholders for undertaking the internal audit / internal control procedures. - Monitor and review the performance of concurrent audit/external audit partners on an ongoing basis and formalization of the process to provide periodic feedback. - Follow-up on observation of audit reports for their implementation and periodically present to the management What you have : - CA with 5+ years of experience in internal audit preferably in a reputed firm or a fast growing company - Strong documentation and communication skills - Project management and influencing skills - Collaborative approach to problem solving - Good organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work in fast paced environment with ability to manage tasks independently
