VSO is the world's leading independent international development organisation that works through volunteers to fight poverty in developing countries. VSO has extended its recruitment program to India through its partner iVolunteer Overseas.

As a VSO volunteer, you will support to strengthen current monitoring and evaluation practices and support a partner organisation to develop integrated monitoring and evaluation systems. You'll build the capacity of personnel collecting, collating, analyzing, synthesizing & disseminating data and introduce effective data collection approaches. You'll support the development of guidelines and tools on monitoring and evaluation and deliver training workshops. The emphasis of your position will depend on the key objectives of the local partner.

Skills, qualifications and experience required :

To be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 3 years Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) experience. You have experience developing monitoring and evaluation training materials and delivering training. Proven experience and skills in EMIS practice including data collection and analysis, and used in effective management of information systems, planning and decision making

Placement Countries: Countries where VSO is currently running Monitoring & Evaluation programmes with M&E specialists are Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, South Sudan, Tanzania & Ethiopia.
