Responsibilities - - Work with global insurance and insurance brokerage organizations to define and implement analytics and data solutions - Provide advisory to insurance organizations in areas of analytics and information management and industry trends - Guide, mentor and oversee team members work in implementing analytics and big data solutions - Work closely with the sales team on proposals for business. - Keeping abreast with latest industry and technology developments and trends. - Acting as Insurance SME to Analytics/ DW projects - Working closely with customers to understand and capture requirements. Pre-requisites - - Excellent knowledge of the insurance value chain and key-performance indicators - Strong concepts in analytics, BI, and data warehousing. Knowledge of big data architecture is advantageous. - Atleast 3 full cycle BI/DW/Big Data projects for insurance or healthcare payer organizations - Knowledge of insurance brokerage business will be advantageous. - Expertise in supervised and un-supervised analytical techniques. Ability to develop and deploy solutions using Python and/or R. - Strong skills in any popular BI tool such as Tableau, Qlikview - Previous experience working in a technical pre sales position. - An ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand. - Excellent presentation and documentation skills - Self-motivated professional, ability to work independently - 12+ years of experience in the field of analytics, BI, data warehousing and big data of which at least 7 years have been with global insurance organizations - Graduation in technology/ science. MBA education will be advantageous. - Relevant degree/certifications in Insurance is preferred.
