General skill:
Comes from a Consulting firm / a leading IT/ITES solutions provider / a leading airline;
Has experience/ exposure in Airline business, related technology & strategy;
Flair for overall Airline IT landscape, related trends, and related business drivers is preferred;
A candidate who understands nuances of Flight Ops/ Crew Ops/ Ground Ops/ Cargo/ Engineering functions; relevant applications/ systems tools eg LIDO, Sabre suite, Ramco suite etc, will be preferred;
Prior hands-on experience in a full service / LCC airline will be an added plus.
Specific Skill:
Proven research and analytical skills;
Ability to work as a team member in consulting engagements and contribute effectively to engagement delivery;
Ability to effectively conduct business process analysis work and relate that to SDLC concepts; Support consultative selling processes and sales proposals; Support thought leadership contribution in events, journals, external publications through research; Ability to engage effectively with middle management of Business and IT.
Nice to Have Skill Set : Cross Functional Airline Industry experience
Responsibilities : Participate in large scale strategic programs / consulting led projects, typically on the business / functional side.
- The key emphasis of the work should be on process analysis, solution formulation and design stages in a project lifecycle.
- Apply domain and consulting skills in specific practice areas (Industry/ Service Practice) to help drive consulting, sales and account development needs.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - executive presence
- Willingness to travel on short notice on short or long term engagements within or outside the country
- Proven Ability to work with multi-cultural teams across geos.
- Billability as prescribed in annual work plan
