Job Description:
As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software implementation projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle for software implementation projects for the company
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, providing regular updates and status reports.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance testing and validation to ensure that software solutions meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) as an IT Project Manager, with a focus on software implementation projects within the Financial Services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and negotiate project priorities.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
