IT Project Manager - Lab Informatics/Pharma/Life Sciences

Key Responsibilities : Project Manager to build a cutting edge product in the Lab Informatics space. The ideal candidate should have prior Product Management experience and should work well in a cross functional environment involving Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Services and Business teams.

- Assume the role of hands on Project manager for internal and customer / partner facing projects

- Discuss , Deduce and Implement the agreed PM approach for the project

- Follow & suitably modify the project management methodologies to suit the project requirements

- Work with customer and internal stakeholders to understand the scope of work and executed the agreed SOW

- Translate the scope into milestones and attainable set of activities with carved out interdependencies , timelines and efforts

- Assume the role of resource manager during the projects

- Be responsible for schedule or scope creep

- Create & Publish dashboards on project progress at agreed frequency

- Maintain RAID Log, Meeting Log & other project artefacts during the project and own archival of documents

- Work with Quality Management Team to lay down the quality framework for each project and ensure adherence

- Schedule, own / chair PM Meetings and report Risks, Issues & Escalations

- Participate and draft RFP responses and support Bid Defence by creating suitable presentations

- Manage more than one project at any given time by aptly dividing own time onto the projects

- Apply leadership skills wherever required to solve complex situation

- Train & up skill the team under (whenever there will be one)

Experience : 10 + Years of core IT Project Management Experience in Pharma / Life Sciences Vertical

- Exposure to LIMS / ELN will be an added advantage

- Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies & Tools

PMP

Waterfall + Agile + Scrum

WBS / RBS using MS Project

Delphi Techniques

MS Visio

Dashboarding

- Exposure to creating Tools & Trackers in MS Excel- desired

- Awareness of Change & Stake holder Management Techniques

- Excellent in Communication and presentation skills

- Should be a self-starter - Possess ability to create his own approach to Project management based on scope and customer requirement

- Should have exposure to creation of PM Playbooks

- Readiness to work with varied geographies & global hours

- Multi-tasking

- Aware of LEAN methodologies & Process excellence

- Exposure to AI , ML , NLP , RPA would be an advantage

- Exposure to technologies such as Java, Cloud Computing, AWS desired
