Role Description:

- Understanding on Treasury Products used by banks in Currency, Treasury products, Govt. Papers and Overnight call money market etc.

- Knowledge on Export packaging credit and foreign exchange business generated due to export packaging credit and documentary credit business.

- Good understanding of core banking, Treasury Solution, surround apps and Multi-channel architecture and digital banking.

- Good understanding in Book Keeping, General Ledger, Trial Balance and relevant logics of accounting standards followed in Banks.

- Understand the Business requirement from the bank user and map the requirement against IT application and provide solution to the business users.

- Clear understanding of the Foreign Exchange

- Employ strategic thinking to lead and direct IT vendor technical engagement strategies in the context of the business priorities and objectives.

- Effective communication and understanding ability to add value in the discussion between IT vendor and business users.

- Effective negotiation skills to negotiate and take the business requirement to closure.

- Understanding on the recent Banking regulation prevalent in the Banking.

Job Description:

- Define and execute IT Enterprise Applications strategy to support the company's overall business strategies.

- Develop/ create the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes, pertaining to the IT Operations

- Ensure the provision of adequate and efficient processing services pertaining Assets products, resolving their queries/ problems and thereby help them serve their respective operations in an efficient manner.

- Evaluate existing as well as new products/ services and provide recommendations on ways to improve the effectiveness/ efficiency of the transactions related to the same.

- Compile relevant MIS on periodic basis for the management.

- Ensure system and quality enhancements by monitoring the respective IT activities and processes implemented, and by keeping abreast with new methodologies and practices.

Qualifications:

- BE /MCA /MBA

- 12-15 + years project management in IT department in the relevant products of the Bank successfully delivering complex technology solutions within a defined Software/Systems development lifecycle; consulting experience preferred.

- Currently working for Application Support function of a Bank.
