IT Project Manager

Job Description for a Project Manager:

Must Have :

- Candidates for this role should be really strong with Stakeholder management and communication skills. They are going to steer committee meetings with high level executive and authorities and during these calls will provide strategic oversight and guidance to one or multiple projects

- They should have detailed understanding on End to End project management which starts from creating a project charter and then getting into Design- >Build- >Test and Deploy; complete hands on experience in entire SDLC of any project

- Hands on experience and knowledge in Agile methodology is needed

- Understanding on Budgeting and Costing is going to be really crucial for this role as a project manager, while in execution phase project manager will be responsible to take care and monitor project variance which should never exceed 5-6%

- Hands on experience with Risk and Issue management; project manager will be responsible to strategically oversight the project and mitigate all the risks upfront

- People must have experience in managing projects upto 2 million euros in their previous project management roles.

- Overall work experience needed is 15 - 20 years and project management has to be 3 to 5 years.

- Not looking for Project managers coming from - BOSCH, Daimler, HP as their budgets are not managed in India and the project managers are only involved in the execution phase.

Good to Have:

- Certifications like PMP, SAFe, CSM

- Have been onsite and worked from there on similar role

Served in the firms like : KPMG, Deloitte, EY, Cognizant, TCS, IBM, Mindtree, Capgemini, Accenture and other such big names in service and consulting
