Our client is looking for a IT Program Manager / Account Manager for APAC region. This role is accountable for the following: - Acts as a - Regional- BRM (Business Relationship Manager) for Asia region. (a) Communicates with key regional business partners keeping them informed on strategies, actions, and activities. (b) Represents - Region- back to the Global organization keeping informed on business activities, issues, and concerns as they pertain to the Global organization. - Supports, coordinates, and occasionally manages project activities within Asia region, including business integration projects and transformation activities at our Global Technology Center in Pune. - Facilitates regional escalations or alignment challenges. - Project portfolio laisson to region; ensures regional needs, priorities, and requirements are recognized and properly incorporated into portfolio while facilitating alignment of global solutions within the region. Supports OCM activities including identification of key stakeholders within the region. - Administrates regional based employees . This includes but not limited to performance management, administrative approvals, resource planning and hiring, coordinating departmental communications such as Global Town Hall, competency and training, regional talent pool, promotions and employee moves. - Facilitates a collaborative partnership between Global and Regional organization. Identifies and tracks key dependencies, conflicts, and opportunities between regional and Global strategies, initiatives, and portfolios. - Serves as a trusted technology partner to the business teams in Asia both by applying knowledge and experience obtained from previous experiences and by disseminating our strategy obtained from the BRMs and Technical Leads REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: - Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, business or related fields. Work Experience: - 10-15 years of applicable experience. - Influential leader that partners well with all areas of the business - Experience with people management and engaging with global teams - Demonstrated skill running effective meetings and getting buy-in and participation from executive leaders - Ability to organize and present business strategies, proposals, and other related portfolio information - Business Relationship Management and global collaboration mindset - Understands organizational change management through process improvement initiatives - Successful track record of managing and delivering projects and programs - Technical understanding of SaaS and PaaS technologies (IBM platforms preferred, AWS platforms desired) - Technical understanding of mobile app development and support - Understanding of requirements management tools such as IBM Rational Suite of Tools. - Good understanding of ERP Systems (in particular SAP) and MES solutions. - Familiar with Product Design Tools and PLM (ideally Creo and Windchill). - Comfortable with working cross-functionally in a virtual team environment. - Business acumen and excellent knowledge of business tools such as financial analysis, process design and productivity measurements - Domestic and international travel will be required (about 40-50% of time) - ITIL, PMI foundations and scrum master certification is preferred - Fluency in English and Mandarin preferred
