IT Procurement Specialist (Infrastructure)

Key Accountability :

- Work with vendors to understand vendor BOQ and SOW in minute terms.

- Understand and verify BOQ & SOW for vendors based on clearly understanding their offerings and working closely with Solution Analyst + Solution Architect

- Understanding all aspects of procurement (taxation, lead times, contracting with vendors, agreements etc)

- Work with customer procurement teams on proposals submitted and assist in commercial closure of the same.

Key Actions :

- Working with innovative vendors of exciting technology with enterprise/smart city applications

- Understanding all aspects of the technology and working closely with internal and vendor teams

- Work closely with internal TPL teams to understand and follow processes

- Work with customer procurement teams to get proposals accepted and sold

Measures :

- Ability to understand the detailed micro aspects of the solution

- Timely and accurate preparation of RFI, RFP and BOQ & SOW

- Work with internal teams without disruption

- Play an important role in completely the post-sale contracting and cash collection cycle

Experience :

- Must have experience in IT and Electronic procurement.

- Must have procured similar products and managed complex vendor datavase for a large company (100 Cr. Turnover minimum)

- Must have done end-to-end procurement of similar technology.

- Must understand supply chain and taxation issues

Critical Skills :

- Excellent communication skills (English - Written and Oral). Technology expertise in terms of design and creativity is a must.

Technical Skills :

- Supply Chain understanding and taxation impact understanding.
