Role : IT Procurement - Consultant

About the Company : Our Client is a Leading Global Company.

Work Location : Mumbai

Experience : 6 - 10 years

Role & Responsibilities :

- Processing requests for IT equipment / services from all departments

- Liaising with suppliers and following up on lead times and stock availability to ensure prompt delivery to meet project deadlines

- Liaising with accounting department to ensure all Invoices are signed off by the correct Department Head and that payments are made according to agreed contracts

- Updating supplier library including requesting updated catalogs, price lists and creating new supplier files as required

- Ensuring any contracts are signed and returned promptly as requested by Department Heads.

- Routinely reports status and issues to the Top Management, pro-actively reporting any discrepancies and delayed completion dates and implementing any corrective action.

- Reviews all capital expenditure requests for potential contracting opportunities and identify potential cost savings for capital equipment and services engagement.

- Involved in the RFP process, creating comparative matrices, and determining total cost for the goods or services being negotiated.

- Monitor existing contract portfolio for renewal points and optimization opportunities across entries and contracts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

- Proven ability to deliver work with a very high degree of accuracy, whilst meeting tight timescales and deadlines

- Proficient in data analysis and reporting

- Good understanding of financial budgets, asset depreciation etc.

- Ability to challenge and think creatively in the pursuit of service improvement

- Supplier appraisal / management experience

- Commercial awareness

- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

- Ability to work within a team environment.
