JOB TITLE: IT Manager

DEFINITION

This position is responsible for managing all organization technologies and providing technology support and training. Primary duties include: analyzing systems and processes; maintaining workstations and networks.

2. Junior IT Support Technicians

We are looking to hire a talented and committed IT Manager to lead the IT Support team based at one of our Fulfilment Centres in the India.

The role will require a level of geographical flexibility in base location within the India.

The Fulfilment Centre IT team provides 24x7 support of IT hardware, software, servers and infrastructure in an on-site and on-call capacity for the FC. The successful IT Manager will be responsible for utilizing their skills to provide assistance to the operations team in resolving technical problems within the Fulfilment Centre that covers a multitude of technical disciplines as well as coordination between the Operations group and IT resources in future projects and day to day management of the IT team in a 24x7 production atmosphere.

These efforts include but are not limited to: coordination of trouble tickets to strict SLAs, project management, staff scheduling, insuring that SOPs are followed, inventory and procurement management of IT equipment and services, and representing the site in local, regional and global meetings.

Candidates must be forward thinking with a high degree of customer service focus and excellent communication skills and possess the ability to communicate with management at all levels. Success in this position can only be achieved through communication, organization, and the ability to drive projects and problems to resolution while maintaining to high standards.

Key Skills/Experience required:

- Superior technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills, project management and the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels and in different situations.

- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability required.

- Previous experience in which high levels of initiative, judgment, and tact have been demonstrated.

- Previous management experience of a support team in a production environment required.

- Proven ability to operate in extreme high pressure situations, successfully handle multiple competing priorities and possess a high level of discipline while displaying a high degree of flexibility and professionalism.

- Must be willing to work in a fast paced and growing Indian and global environment where travel is required.

Basic Qualifications:

Education, experience and knowledge of / in the following areas:

1. IT / ICT university degree.

2. Management experience in an operational support / production environment as IT / ICT Manager.

3. Linux/Unix System Support.

4. MS Windows System Support.

5. Networking / Cisco knowledge - LAN / WAN and Wireless.

6. Holds an understanding of core internet technologies - DHCP, DNS, mail transport, TCP/IP and network file systems.

7. Telecom knowledge including VOIP / SIP and mobile technologies.

8. Help Desk / Technical support experience.

9. Data Cabling / Computer Facilities knowledge.

10. Ability to develop clear, concise documentation to lower the possibility of repeat incidents.

11. Ability to develop the skills needed to support specific Fulfillment Centre Automated Systems.

12. Ability to escalate problems for any technical support needed for resolution of problems.

13. Experience in procurement, inventory and asset management of IT equipment as well as IT lifecycle.

14. Ability to coordinate with corporate-based support groups to implement global IT changes.

15. Project management, budgeting and forecasting experience required.

16. Excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software) and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology.
