Main Duties:

India IT Infra & desktop support lead main functions are as follows:

- Build and maintain the relationship with Senior business managers in India business - Work with other infrastructure key stakeholders in order to cover front to back requirements.

- Local management of IT Infrastructure projects in India on the ground and direct the team (one staff) to deliver on target and on cost by supporting global product heads.

- Escalate the risk and key issues to IT Head for resolution and update regional Infra heads.

- Work with regional Infrastructure management in Singapore to set standards, controls, and best practices for production environment Continue to improve production support to improve stability and reduce system outages.

- Ensure to meet and raise control standard including regulatory, internal standard

- Deal with local exchanges (e.g.. NSE, BSE) and escalate issues as well as provide information to upper management

- Provides troubleshooting, break/fix, problem determination and resolution for all managed hardware and software

- Performs backup tape retrieval activities, include backup tape media retrieval, tape media mounting and tape media management

- Provide user desktop support and assist the regional desktops support team

- Schedules preventive maintenance with third party vendors

- Manages and assists audit exercises

- Performs software or hardware installation services for all users whenever required

- Obtains approval for each installation before commencing

- Attends to users who have IT problems

- Manages and coordinate with third party vendors for assistance in the timely resolution of problems when necessary;

- Completes the necessary forms for change approval before any changes are made

- Identifies and apply software patches

- Highlights to management any capacity concerns

- Be responsible for general administration of the servers, performing housekeeping

- Performs system shutdown and restart services whenever required

- Arranges with vendors on new server and server maintenance activities

- Provides installation and de-installation services for all managed hardware and software whenever required

- Liaises with respective vendor to process warranty claim and follow up with user to ensure the problem is solved

- Invokes problem escalation to next level of support

- Perform infrastructure works as network patching, assist vendor in Equipment room
