IT Head - Financial Startup

IT Head for a financial startup based at Pune

Responsibilities

IT Strategy Align all IT strategies and execution to business vision & priorities.

Work with Strategic Partners/ PMO to Manage portfolio of IT projects

Design and develop an IT organisation Structure to deliver against the IT strategy

IT Operations: Manage the portfolio of applications and platforms for maximum up-time and ensure smooth IT Operations of Infrastructure and Business Applications

Procurement of hardware, software and networking products

Take complete responsibility of IT enablement as per the defined Business Processes and Identified Business needs

IT Policy Development and Implementation of Comprehensive IT Policy taking into account Regulatory and Compliance requirement in NBFC / BFSI space specifically relevant to company

All aspects of IT infrastructure, Software, Hardware & Applications, Information Security and BCP/DR

Vendor Management and Cost Centre Enter into tie-ups with external agencies and third party service providers for outsourcing contracts and procurement

Manage vendors/partners

Perform cost benefit analysis of IT solutions and initiatives

Draw up IT Budget and monitor the same for variances

Innovation Track innovations in technology and implications on company's business

Leverage Digital channels / Emerging technologies for Operational efficiencies and Market outreach

Experience, Knowledge and Competencies Industry Experience

- Having at least 12 - 15 years of progressive leadership experience in an IT services delivery environment

- Should have technical (Software Engineering) background. Post graduate degree such as MBA preferred

- Strong understanding of the financial services industry - specifically in NBFC/ Lending business

- Experience in setting up IT infrastructure. Experience of Implementation Lending or Core banking Solution from Leading vendors is desirable(e.g. Finacle, FinnOne, R-System, FinCraftetc.)

- Understanding of Prevailing regulatory and compliances needs in NBFC and BFSI space

- Integration Experience in any one of the following -Credit Bureau Integration, Bank Integration/ Payment Gateway Integration, UIDAI, Payment Wallets

- Demonstrated ability in areas of -IT Solution enablement, IT Infrastructure management, Vendor management, Business liaison

- Good understanding and experience in Digital channels, Mobile Integration, Social Media Integration

- Ability to work as a leader, a member of a team and act and think corporately, with a collaborative style that engages peopleatall levels and promotes positive relationships
