IT Head (CIO / Dy CIO)

Roles and Responsibilities :

Strategic :

- To lead the technology initiatives of a Large Manufacturing group

- To define all the IT initiatives and ensure the roll out an implementation of the same. - To lead the technical team from the front to ensure success.

- Technology initiatives

- Corporate Planning

- Participate in the deployment of IT strategic imperatives.

- Planning & Management of IT Budgets

- Provide leadership for the business and technology teams to ensure that IT projects meet the strategic objectives

Managerial :

- Experience in project management of major development projects, particularly as a business lead.

- Experience with technologies such as enterprise application integration, web technologies, document management, business intelligence and customer relationship management, packaged business applications.

- Knowledge of foreign languages will be an added advantage.

Operations :

- Handle the ITISG deliverables, focusing on timeliness and quality perspective.

- Responsible for implementing IT policies and procedures

- Network management -Installation & Configuration of switches, routers, LAN & WAN, Firewall.

- Management of IT inventory like software licensing and legal liabilities.

- Experience in FMS and monitoring warranty/AMC details to notify necessary contract renewals, Service Provider contract review and re-negotiation, contract performance monitoring.

- Planning and implementation of data security and backup strategy.

- Work closely with the assigned Project / Migration Managers to setup network

- Experience in providing installation and administration and Managing of a various range of Servers, Desktop Laptops and Peripherals and Security. Telecom/ servers/ san/nas/ desktop implementation plan for timely delivery of business. Having experience in managing project through Project Management Methodology.

- Purchase of hardware-software, identifying and evaluating vendors, negotiate commercial terms with the vendors, purchase/procure hardware/software in a cost effective manner

- Interface with all contractors for ensuring prompt and effective service including backups and disaster recovery.

- Respond to RFP/RFQs, provide technical and pre-sales support to business development team
