IT Consultant - Consumer Goods/Retail/Lifesciences/Auto/Industrial Domain - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

We are currently retained by a leading client which is a global IT MNC. The company is building a new IT Consulting vertical. The focus areas for this vertical are Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Security, Cloud, High Velocity ERP, Digital and Intelligent industry and functional platforms. They are looking for people who have worked on SAP, Oracle, Workday, Mulesoft, Salesforce, AWS.

- The vertical is looking for Consultants AVP to VP level. They will help enable, transform and operationalize new technologies for their clients and help transform clients- businesses through the management and implementation of new applications, platforms, architectures and technologies.

- The role would be based in Bangalore and requires 15 or 16 days travelling mostly to the US in a month. So please apply if you are fine with that type of Travel.

- To fit the bill : You must have Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics AND MBA from a top B school only.

- This is a consulting role that requires to collaborate with clients to advise, innovate, architect and transform their technology landscape leveraging the latest technologies and industry specific platforms/ products/ solutions.

Experience :

- 8-15 years of relevant technology / consulting experience.

- Experience of consulting in one or more of the following industries - Consumer Goods, Retail, Lifesciences, Auto/ Industrial

- Experience with one or more of the following platforms - SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, Workday, Salesforce, Google, AWS, Mulesoft..

- Experience of one or more of emerging technologies / methodologies - Agile, DevOps, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Blockchain, Cloud, Data/ Analytics and Security, IoT.

- Analytical, problem solving and research skills.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high energy, demanding and team-oriented environment.

Roles/responsibilities :

- Lead the project team to translate client's business goals/ challenges into technology roadmaps and architecture designs

- Define solution blueprints that leverage emerging architecture patterns and industry/ functional solutions.

- Identify and recommend industry best practices in technology landscape, processes and architecture.

- Partner with clients on business/ technology transformation programs; orchestrate the implementation of planned initiatives and realization of business outcomes.
