IT Business Analyst - Media

POSITION TITLE: Business Analyst

DIRECT SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Vice President, Product Management

GENERAL/OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create the design documents and technical specifications for changes to our RightsLogic product, supporting Consumer Products and Rights Management as well as contribute to the product roadmap.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Research, design, and document specifications for the development, maintenance and enhancement of Consumer Products with an eye toward productization

- Work with Business Analysts and Senior Management to understand, refine and clearly communicate product development requirements to programming team

- Ensure project priorities are clearly communicated and understood

- Facilitate and/or provide functional and operating expertise for system development

- Coordiante with Programmers, Product and Business Analysts to make sure vision and product roadmap is implemented

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Experience working with design and/or prototyping software

- Business software application knowledge

- Strong time management and organizational skills

- Proactive mindset with ability to provide creative solutions to complex problems

- Leader as well as team player

- Detail-orientated with an ability to see the big picture and work on cross-divisional projects with many stakeholders

- Manages diverse projects and assignments

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Project, Visio, Outlook, and PowerPoint

- Ability to work with remote teams

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- 2+ years experience with business or systems analysis

- Experience in Media, Licensing or Consumer Products a plus

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

- 25-30% International Travel
