IT Auditor - BPO

Senior Internal & SOX Auditor

The person should be able to work independently, yet effective in a team environment. As a member of the team, you will need to perform the following:

Responsibilities:

- Auditing of complex IT processes, business processes, compliances and controls.

- Lead as audit coordinator and participate as auditor in IT audits and other operations audits

- Lead IT automated controls (ITAC) and IT general controls (ITGC) testing.

- Also, lead operations audit assignments and prepare and review formal reports to management outlining scopes, objectives, procedures performed and recommendations, in accordance with established IA reporting guidelines.

- Project management is the most important aspect of this role where the person needs to work with several key contacts and external auditors to ensure the overall successful delivery of audit.

- Proactively identify process efficiency opportunities and identify, promulgate and transmit best practices across the organization.

- Routinely inform the VP - IA of activities and any problems noted within audit areas.

- Manage the audit fieldwork activities of the Auditors to ensure that they have clear guidance on outstanding work and are employing their time effectively.

- Continually keep up to date on current activities, accounting pronouncements and audit information significant to the profession and

Group's industry. Participate in professional organizations to develop industry contacts and maintain awareness of industry issues.

Requirements:

- Preferred a bachelor's degree in IT disciplines with 8+ years of related professional work experience is required.

- SAP configurations knowledge and IT audits experience.

- Demonstrated excellence in Project Management.

- Preferences to the candidates having professional degree like CISA, CISSP or equivalent

- Preferred a candidate with min 8+ years of experience in the areas of IT audits, SOX/ ICFR / IFC / SAS 70 / SSAE / SOC

- Knowledge of ERPs like SAP and their native application controls will be preferred.

- Candidates with hands on experience on regulatory requirements / international standards (SSAE / ISAE / SOX, PCI, ISO 27001) and good practices (COSO, COBIT) relating to information security will be preferred.
