Internal Audit team based in Mumbai. Preferred Exp : 5yrs exp (IT Audits with SAP exp) CTC : Max of 13 lacs Location : Mumbai 1. JOB PURPOSE : To carry out financial, commercial and operations audits mainly in the areas of Refining &amp; Marketing. ACCOUNTABILITY : i. To conduct audits for the company as per the audit plan, under the leadership and guidance of Head IA, with specific focus to IT related audits. - Plan and execute audit assignments ii. Assume responsibility for the quality &amp; timelines of IA execution activities : - Ensuring all audit activities are undertaken as per timetable and ensuring adherence to the outlined approach and scope areas. - Identify key issues including process gaps and operating deficiencies for corrective action. - Discuss findings with process owners and agree remedial action plans iii. Deliverables : - Draft the audit reports and present findings to management and agree timelines with business heads for implementation of actions - Prepare various presentations for discussions at Management Audit Committees and Board Audit Committees 2. KEY CHALLENGES : - Thorough understanding of business risks, ability to grasp the changing organisational priorities and translate it into an assurance plan - Ability to communicate and present well (report writing skills and presentations) - The ability to perform the role of being a trusted business advisor 3. KEY DECISIONS : - Assessment of key risks and audit focus areas - Ability to segregate key audit findings - Identify changes to the risk profile and consider its impact on the assurance map - Ensure that all audit work is executed as planned, key bottlenecks are addressed, report closures are timely and appropriate resolutions reached in terms of audit recommendations - Discuss and secure the buy in of process owners to important audit recommendations - Findings that warrant further discussions at MAC/ AC - Identify process gaps / weaknesses including SOP non-compliances - Matters of a serious nature that require escalation to the Head of Internal Audit - Provide regular updates on audit plan execution and audit quality reviews 4. DIMENSIONS : A. Financial Dimensions : - This being an advisory function it does not have its own financial dimensions except for the fact that the department has to operate within the sanctioned budget. - Timelines and number of reports as well as areas covered are more important and are the critical measures along with the quality of work performed. B. Team Size: - Total team size of 12 including the Head - IA. This position will have no direct reportees. 6. SKILLS &amp; KNOWLEDGE : A. Educational Qualifications &amp; Certifications: - CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) - Other IT Certifications B. Relevant (Functional/Level) &amp; Total Years of Experience : - 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience post qualification. - Candidate should have prior work experience in the field of Internal audit C. Functional Skills: - Updated knowledge of IT systems and controls - Industry background in Oil &amp; Gas will be an advantage - Good grasp of accounting and commercial issues. - Good head for numbers, communication - Strong background in the areas of SOPs and good insight of various commercial processes D. Behavioural Skills: - Professional integrity above all - Maturity and team spirit - Ability to communicate across levels - Eye for detail - Questioning bent of mind
