Our client, a global payments firm is actively seeking candidates to contribute significantly to the growth and development of their cards portfolio. This role is stationed in the vibrant city of Dubai, UAE. Initially this is a 10-month contractual role with a high probability of extension.

What we're looking for:

- Professionals with at least 6+ years of experience in banking or financial services, focusing on card Product / portfolio management.

- The role is ideal for individuals with a robust track record in portfolio management, including activation, spend build (both domestic and cross-border), and portfolio expansion.

- Additional expertise in product development, partnerships, and sales will be highly valued.

Role Description

As a pivotal member of the team, you will drive the cards business development, leveraging your deep understanding of both conventional and Islamic banking practices. Your role will encompass strategic planning, market research, product and service development, and direct engagement with key stakeholders to ensure the card business's profitability and competitive edge.

Planning and Development

- Strategic Implementation: Guide the development and execution of new product plans, aligning with the strategic objectives to maximize profitability across all timeframes.

- Market Research: Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies to seize business opportunities and refine product offerings.

Product and Service Innovation

- Development Support: Aid in crafting and enhancing innovative products and services that meet market demands and align with business strategy.

- Portfolio Management: Conduct regular reviews of the product and service portfolio to advise on strategic adjustments, ensuring competitiveness and adherence to the company's policies.

Requirements and Skills

- Islamic Banking Insight: A comprehensive understanding of the Islamic banking and payments market, including trends and opportunities for product launches.

- Product Lifecycle Expertise: Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of product launches, from design to partnership exploration and market introduction.
