Reason for Hire

iServeU has witnessed rapid growth since inception. The team is now working on enhancing its technology platform and building a stronger leadership team and the focus for this year will be on rolling out financial Services product. With the entire infrastructure in place, the company is now gearing up for the next phase of growth. Accordingly, the management has decided to get on-board a dynamic individual as Head of Corporate Finance (Corp FP & A). He/She must be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to clients and colleagues so they can make sound business decisions. The individual will be a key member of the management team with oversight on critical aspects of Planning, Business, Finance, & Commercial activities.

Job Description:

Roles and responsibilities:

Goal-setting

- Define the organizations short/med/long term financial goals in alignment with company's overall vision & strategy

- Formulate an actionable strategy to achieve above financials goals & design a robust governance mechanism to ensure progress towards goals

Budgeting, planning & controls

- Lead the budgeting/planning process & drive continuous improvement

- Establish superior controls processes to improve effectiveness of the organization

Reporting & Stakeholder relations

- Provide timely and insightful analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends to assist the Head of Finance, the Board and other senior executives in strategic decision making

- Lead all internal & external reporting to management, BoD, Investors

- Lead relations & interactions with key external stakeholders (e.g., Investors, Board) to credibly represent the organization

Balance Sheet, P&L management & Forecasting

- Identify levers to optimize financial performance & identify growth opportunities (e.g., revenue initiatives, margin improvement, cost efficiency, cash flow, and capital structure)

- Develop & maintain financial models/forecasts with deep understanding of value drivers

Operational leadership

- Assist the key stakeholders in establishing short and long-term departmental goals and objectives

- Serve as a key member & thought partner to senior management team for both formulation of overall company strategy as well as ongoing operations

People leadership

- Commands respect & seen as a senior leader in the organization

- Breed next generation of leaders in the finance organization

- Be a self-starter with a high energy level and entrepreneurial mindset

- Able to lead, collaborate & influence variety of stakeholders (both internal & stakeholders)

- Ability to build a high performing team and rally the organization around shared goals

Requirements:

1. CA/MBA in the accounting and finance sector.

2. Experienced in working with Banks, NBFCs, RBI and other financial regulators

3. Experience in fintech
