Career Advancement Services The CAS office offers a wide range of services covering career counseling, skills development workshops, and career management to enable students to make the right career choices. CAS works with the student representatives -the Careers Advancement Council - in formulating the policies. Corporate Business Development (CBD) The Corporate Business Development Team (CBD) at CAS builds new relationships with clients that can hire at ISB and maintains existing relationships to deepen the accounts. The CBD team networks with a large set of corporates in private, government, semi-government, foundations among others throughout the year, making companies aware of the various offerings from the school other than Placement opportunities. The CBD connects with multiple buyers in an account making sure that we bring all kinds of career opportunities for our students. The team also source and float jobs for Alumni as well as for PGPpro and PGPMAX. Job Purpose: Manager- Corporate Business Development: To build and strengthen relationships with required companies resulting into smooth landing of PGP students in those companies. Responsible for meeting set targets with respect to number of companies visiting campus and making offers (such that the planned number of recruitments happen in his/her territory). Major Responsibilities: - The Business Development division of Career Advancement Services (CAS) is responsible for building &amp; establishing strong relationship with potential companies and maintaining the relationship with existing companies for placement of the Post Graduation Program students. - While executing the job the incumbent if responsible for identifying and approaching new companies/ recruiters for placement purpose. S/he is expected to seek and conduct meetings with the decision makers across these companies and show case the talent pool of the school along with the diversity of the students that the institute chooses and grooms over the year.&nbsp; - The incumbent is expected to follow up with them and build everlasting relationships. S/he is also expected to periodically engage with existing companies by keeping them informed about the latest placement related developments at ISB and taking their valuable inputs. S/he makes sure to also invite these companies for various knowledge sharing forums being organized by the school from time to time. The incumbent is expected to get new referrals and ideas from the existing relationships for getting more placement options for the students. - The incumbent on one hand is responsible for interfacing with the companies to understand their talent requirements and on the other interacts with the students to figure out their aspirations and target companies to approach the market accordingly. - In order to ensure effective execution of the job the incumbent makes sure that companies targeted for placement are in sync with School's requirement and processes followed are adhered to set standards or quality guidelines.
