IS Business Relationship Management Expert - APA Region

Purpose of the job

The Expert IS Business Relationship Management is the link between IS and a BT Region / Global Business:

Management of the client relationship with BT Regions / Global Businesses.

Management of the IS demand of a BT Region / Global Businesses and ensures their alignment with IS strategy & standards.

Management of the consumption of a BT Region / Global Business

Support of bid activities in BT Region / Global Business

Key responsibilities

Relationship Management:

Manage and develop business relationship on N-3 level and below.

Active change management role in promoting IS standard solutions in the Business.

Execution of regular communication to the regional management.

Play a regional relationship role in case of major IS outage or business escalation

Demand Management & Project execution:

Manage business demand & qualify business requirements to be passed to BSS / Infrastructure and align with IS standards.

Definition & realization of business case for business change initiatives with IS contribution (with support of BSS / contributes to business leaders).

Optimisation of the use of standard solutions (contributes to BSS).

Ensure that end user adoption is achieved (contributes to BSS, Infrastructure and supported by business leaders).

Ensure that proper business representatives are engaged into project activities.

Active business engagement in project delivery.

Financial Management:

Manage the consumption with regional management & report regularly on IS volumes to regional controller.

BT business (regional/divisional) structures are acting on their consumption according to volume budget assumptions (contributes to business leaders).

Stop all IS purchases outside defined standards (supported by SCM).

Bid Management:

Participate in regional bid process for new business. Understand IS needs and provide IS cost for the bid.

Education

University Degree in Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related

Relevant experience required (i.e. directly linked to the requirements of the position/role)

Typically minimum 12+ year's experience

Working experience Applications, Infrastructure or in the Business

Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role

A holistic understanding of the business & IS

Deep understanding regarding the IS strategy and the implication toward the global / regional business

Advanced expertise in building partnership between business and IS

Strategic relationship building with regional / global business
