Skills: Analytical mindset, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), willingness to work in an unstructured environment, ability to work in diverse teams, proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) Job Description: We expect the analyst to be involved in all / some of the following activities: - Build and maintain databases to track the Indian venture capital ecosystem (investment rounds, investors, companies) - Build and maintain databases of sub-sectors of the Indian technology industry (eg Fintech, SaaS, Vertical Commerce etc) - Join the investment team in meeting potential investee companies, and doing initial pre-work / research to arrive at a go / no-go decision - Assist the investment team in due diligence of potential investee companies - Assist the investment team with financial planning / forecasting while investing in potential investee companies - Draft investment memos - Review MIS provided by portfolio companies - Assist the investment team, as required, in ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies - Assist the investment team, as required, in investor reporting and investor relations
