Job Title: Customer Service Operations Specialist (Freight Forwarding)

Job Location: New Jersey, NY (USA)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Operational to coordinate the movement of our customer's Export and Import shipments. You will be the main point of contact for coordination between customer's shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify Prospects for Import/Export Business From/To India.

2. To independently develop understanding of a customer's business model, trade flows and business drivers. Research and build relationships with new customers.

3. Identify the prospects' needs, by getting clarity on the current business model.

4. Coordinate the routing of import and export bookings with airline and ocean carriers

5. Coordination with pricing and operations team of IRC Head Office to develop solution to meet customers' requirements, concerns and objectives.

6. Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline with Shipping Lines, Vendors, etc to be able create solution for customers, get priority on containers.

7. Periodic review with customers to ensure business continuity.

8. Ensure compliance of internal SOPs, statutory requirements and customer SOPs.

9. Ensure timely responses to communications (both internal and external)

10. Collaborate and build relationships with customers, carriers, and agent representatives regarding air, ocean, import, and export products

11. Prepare all necessary shipping documentation related to international bookings and process all import/export documentation to clearing agents to include: (HAWB's, MAWB's, AES's, Manifest, Shipping Instructions, Haz Cargo Decl., Bill of Ladings, and Certificate of Origin)

Skills / Requirements:

1. At least 5 to 6 years of freight forwarding industry experience

2. Good Network base in Industry - Shipping line / Transportation companies in USA

3. Should possess the ability to understand operational costs and revenue models / customer wise profitability.

4. Knowledge of state, federal, and international applicable laws and regulations i.e. customs, TSA, security, and all other import and export government agencies that regulate international trade preferred

Salary - Annually 40K to 60K USD
