IPE Global - Senior Investment Associate

- Establish relationships with founders and create a deep network of start-up & venture capital professionals

- Develop investment theses with partnership.

- Support new investment opportunities based on investment themes and research.

- Proactively source deals in market through an established network.

- Evaluate and assess the viability of investment materials we receive from potential companies.

- Lead diligence on investment opportunities and deal processes (example - deal memo drafting, financial and analytics modelling, market analysis, testing products and generating industry landscapes).

Key Competency

- Awareness of start-up ecosystems and a perspective on potential investable market

- Experience with detailed financial modelling/analysis, as well as quantitative market research (example - valuation comps) required.

- Enterprising spirit to help us shape new portfolio investments and our own company.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills, business judgment and work ethic.

Qualification

- 3-4+ years of relevant work experience is preferred (e.g., venture firm, consulting firm, corporate finance).

- Excellent communication skills and business writing capabilities.

- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.

- Prior VC investing experience is preferred

- Ability to work across a range of levels, from hands-on analysis / modelling to discussions with senior management

- Ability to multi-task and work with multiple team members

- Willingness to travel
