Job Description :

We are currently seeking a Product Marketing Specialist for driving our software products/Solutions portfolio in Government domain. The right candidate has proven software product leadership experience in a product management role with technical background and experience in Software products/solutions/ERP.

The Product Marketing Specialist has to work with the Technology, Sales, and Client Services teams to build and enhance products from existing ideas and help develop new concepts based on industry research and the needs of customers and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

- Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, overseeing interdepartmental activities to execute plans.

- Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.

- Define feature roadmap for software products based on business opportunities and requirement

- Good relation in Central/State Government department to promote our software product/solutions.

- Create feature descriptions to provide guidance to Business Analysts and contribute and approve the product-related Business Requirements Documents.

- Develop and when necessary deliver concise and meaningful presentations for internal and external audiences, including education and training of sales staff, training of support groups, train the trainer programs, and presentations

- Results-driven product marketing professional with a proven ability to deliver commitments on time while achieving or exceeding business goals

- Understanding and experience of various SDL model Agile/Scrum, Waterfall etc.

Qualification& Experience :

- Must have B.E. / B.Tech / MCA Degree from a premier institute, preferably in Information Technology/ Computer Science Engineering.

- Having MBA or equivalent degree along with PMP / Prince 2 certificate will be preferred

- 10-12 years of experience in software product marketing/Sales. Preferably to Government clients.

- Should have worked closely with Software development team to know the in & out of the Software product/solutions.

- Can be ready with proof of concept (POC) has and when required by the client.

- Should have proven track record in conceptualizing, planning & executing integrated marketing campaigns in government domain

- Develop product roadmap, version / release management and track the product pipeline and implementations

- Have working experience in promotion/sales of software product in Central Ministries/State departments.

- Having experience in dealing with International Government clients like in African countries and other Asian countries, donor Banks, etc. will be desirable.

- Responsible for creating sales and marketing plan, and identifying the market fit/segment.

- Must have strong Knowledge of software products/ERP products and market.

- Should know the Software development lifecycle and update with current technology

- Must possess excellent marketing communication skills and have a high degree of customer orientation

- Highly collaborative individual with a positive attitude and proven ability to drive results and work well in a matrix organization and effectively manage and influence across boundaries.

- Strong project management skills: ability to lead and collaborate with other function groups, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward.

- Passion for partnering with sales teams and co-creating shared priorities

- Capable of managing marketing initiatives and/or products, including a demonstrated ability to effectively maximize the ROI of marketing strategies.

- Smart, results-oriented, ability to think creatively and strategically.

- Exceptional work ethic, judgment, and a commitment to high-quality deliverables.
