Job Responsibilities:

- Propose and create innovative IoT platforms, frameworks and solutions for the enterprise involving sensors, gateways, aggregators, third-party platforms, IoT Cloud services like data ingestion, device positioning, analytics and orchestration

- Critically analyze existing IoT solutions and recommend refactoring. Identify architectural risks in current IoT implementations and plans to mitigate

- Provide thought-leadership liaising with different teams about probable future paths with respect to IoT

- Continuously learn and upgrade himself/herself with new technologies, tools in the IoT and Cloud space and disseminate such knowledge to the population by way of tech-talks, workshops, papers etc.

- Partner with product management and product development to drive adoption and massively scale IoT capabilities throughout the enterprise

- Define patterns, best practices, and standards. Ensure strategies, standards, and architectures are consistent and integrated across product teams

- Market & sell decisions with senior leaders and other stakeholders

- Own the conception and development of new concept prototypes working with a cross-functional team consisting of experts from wireless, mobile & cloud apps etc.

Experience Required:

- Minimum 9-12 years software architecture/development experience with a minimum of 3 years- experience working with Amazon IoT, Ayla, Thingworx, Blue Pillar or any other IoT platform

- Must have architected at least 2 IoT solutions end-to-end, one of them being a cloud-integrated solution.

- Hands-on skill in programming (preferably with both C# and Java) for creating IOT mashups using messaging protocols like: AMQP, MQTT, COAP

- Good knowledge on low-power wireless technologies eg BLE, LoRA, NB-IOT, low-power WiFi

- Experience developing rapid prototypes and iteratively refining them based on feedback from customers/users.
