IoT & Analytics Leader

Core

- Around 15-18 years overall industry experience

- Should have experience in incubating and scaling Analytics/Big Data Practice

- Must demonstrate thought leadership (have spoken in industry forums/published white papers etc.)

- Industry experience in Telecom, CME industries. Healthcare, Financial Services or Manufacturing as other potential industries.

- Understanding and live experience of IoT reference architectures, IoT Platforms, live experience of any IoT implementation, understanding of Device Integration, edge computing, gateways etc.).

- Any added experience on traditional BI environments (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft) is an added advantage

- Track record in pre-sales and capability building

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Tech Stack

- Strong expertise in distributed, cloud or big data systems and ability to create enterprise-scale reference architectures

- Hands on with Big Data Architecture & prior experience in implementing at least two end-to-end Big Data solutions

- Experience with Big Data strategy definition & development of roadmaps along with execution plan

- Experience with major big data technologies and frameworks including but not limited to Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Oozie, Mahout, Flume, ZooKeeper, MongoDB, and Cassandra.

- Should have experience/ knowledge on working with batch processing/Real time systems/CEP. Knowledge on ETL tools, Apache Storm/Kafka topology, Elastic Search or Splunk is an added advantage

- Experience in processing data sets in Hadoop; Knowledge on Cluster sizing and Infrastructure planning.

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages e.g. C/C++, Java, Python, Perl in a Linux/UNIX environment. UX experience is an added advantage.

- Expertise in big data solutions, data science, machine learning, deep learning methods. Proficiency in machine learning languages like MATLAB/Octave/R is also required.

- Expertise with cloud deployments and security aspects of Big Data solutions

- Familiarity with database management systems (MySql, HDFS, NoSQL)

Job Description:

- Build capability in the big data solutions (people, business solutions, delivery management)

- Design, implement and maintain big data platform architectures dealing with the considerable data size (GB/ PB) and with high complexity

- Design, implement, and deploy high-performance, custom applications at scale on Hadoop.

- Lead requirement discussion with clients, scope of each release and prioritization of tasks

- Participate in architecture discussions and take ownership and responsibility over new projects

- Translate and break down high-level requirements into detailed functional requirements for design

- Propose and evaluate new technologies in the big data ecosystem

- Developing an understanding of the types of use cases and implement a technology development plan

- Development of proposals for implementation and design of scalable big data architecture. Participation in customer's workshops and presentation of the proposed solution.
