Work Location: Kolkata Division/Department: Operations/SCM Reports to: COO & CEO Age profile: Within 45 years Job Purpose: Responsible for strategizing and designing the organization's supply chain process against projected costs and timelines and coordinating supply chain activities across all units of the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy and Development: 1. Plan, strategize, design and implement the overall supply chain operations of the company in accordance with the mission of the organization 2. Define and implement operations strategy, structure, and processes. 3. Monitor the SCM Department and identify improvement opportunities. 4. Create integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process. 5. Identify systems tools needed to implement planning/forecasting systems and establishing and maintain program specific roadmaps. 6. Accountable for Planning and Operationalization of new optimized delivery networks and delivery flexibility to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction. 7. Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting. General and Task Management 1. Oversees the organization inventory, warehousing, distribution and transportation functions. 2. Develop and lead a disciplined supplier analysis process 3. Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions 4. Coordinates development of solutions to complex logistics support problems with other product support functions, customers, and suppliers. 5. Develops and implements logistics plans inclusive of supplier contracts, routing guidelines, problem resolution and cost containment. 6. Manages third party vendor relationships related to Logistics. 7. Increasing ROI and optimization of workflow, they implement better procedures and management methods. 8. Ensuring the operations are backed up by proper workflow and SOPs and training modules 9. Manages, maintains and supports applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality against service level expectations 10. Maintain awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, and new industry developments and standards 11. Provide oversight and management of Supply Chain KPIs and Key Initiatives. 12. Manage continuous operational process improvement identification and plans to implement changes in coordination with the teams People Management 1. Ability to manage, coach and mentor large teams of senior managers-blue collar workers 2. Develop, mentor and motivate the team to achieve higher goals. 3. Organize, lead and manage the SCM team in full accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions in collaboration with the senior team members. 4. Perform additional duties as necessary to increase team capacity and maintain performance. Financial Budget and Control 1. Manage the quarterly and annual budgeting process and P&amp;L responsibilities. 2. Education and Work Experience Requirements: 3. Any Graduate/Bachelors Degree in procurement, supply chain management or other related area or equivalent experience. Masters degree in SCM is preferred. 4. A minimum of 10 years in supply chain management. 5. Should have minimum 5-6 years of experience in an e-commerce organization Personality Trait and Skill Requirements: 1. Experience in managing staff and strong leadership is required. &nbsp; 2. Proven management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development 3. Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills 4. Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational skills 5. Outstanding commercial and financial acumen with a full understanding of the impact of failure in terms of business cost, production schedules and customer order fulfilment 6.
