Investments Analyst - Private Equity Fund

Position based with a large Private Equity Fund having offices in India, South East Asia,US

Role

- Financial Modeling for evaluating deals - Assist the senior management team to take an informed view on the business, valuation and likely returns over a 3-5 year period

- Industry and Company research

- Researching companies, in terms of their financial functioning

- Analyzing company accounts, profit and loss sheets and cash flow information

- Interpreting financial information and models

- Writing financial research summaries

- Making informed recommendations

- Evaluation of business plan with respect to the state of the industry and management capabilities

- Understanding the market positioning of the business

- Understanding industry dynamics and positioning of the investee company within its peer group

- Legal Documentation (Term Sheet, Agreements, etc) - including working on detailed terms of the agreement

- Develop and help implement strategies for specific portfolio companies to increase revenue, improve operations, strengthen financial controls, and increase shareholder value

- MBA from Premier B school with 2 - 4 years of experience working with a PE / IB Firm
