Investment & Wealth Manager - Family Office

ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are recruiting for a Family Office that is looking at hiring a senior investment and wealth management professional. The Family Office roughly manages $100 million in investments across the world.

The role is based out of Gurgaon and reports directly to the owner.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Investments & Wealth Manager will be the single point of contact for all investment and wealth management related decisions within the Family Office.

The core responsibilities of the Investments & Wealth Manager will include :

- Oversee, manage and grow the investments portfolio of the Family Office keeping in mind the expected returns and risk appetite.

- Source and analyze potential avenues of investment in private and public markets.

- Execute private equity transactions after performing due diligence.

- Assess investment opportunities based on thorough industry and geography analysis.

- Prepare and circulate periodic updates on the performance of the investments under the Family Office.

- Execute all commercial transactions keeping in mind tax, statutory and other legal requirements.

- Be the single point of contact on behalf of the Family office for all internal and external stakeholders - portfolio companies, private bankers, legal & compliance teams and other analysts.

- Prepare and circulate investment notes to the investment committee at the Family Office.

DESIRABLE PROFILE & EXPERIENCE

- Should have had working experience as an investment professional, ideally at a Family Office or in private banking.

- Should be familiar with compliance and taxation, portfolio allocation and management, risk management and company valuation.

- Familiar with Internet/eCommerce, Tech Enabled startups and industry domains.

- Has a strong industry network to identify investment opportunities.

- Has worked across different asset classes.

- Has experience executing deals across different countries.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills along with the ability to understand business models in across different sectors.
