Investment Risk Management Role - BFSI

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

- Key member of the Risk team, responsible for efficiently running the risk management process with accountability on all delivery parameters.

Investment Risk Management :

- Work closely with business units to ensure comprehensive & compliant Risk Management processes and effective Risk identification, tracking, mitigation, and reporting

- Monitoring investment limits and risk metrices for investment management segment & ensuring stricter governance.

- Perform portfolio analysis, monitor portfolio performance, and proactively manage emerging risks due to macro-economic and regulatory changes with respect to Risk management.

- Working with internal and external stakeholders to define, implement, measure, and support the operating risk model

- Submission of the timely periodic MIS & ad hoc reports based on the management requirements.

- Provide strategic advice and guidance to CEO, CRO and Risk Committee members of the firm, to keep them aware of developments within the industry and to ensure that the appropriate policies are developed to meet the Company's mission and objectives

Internal Audit:

- Coordinate Internal Audit across the Group, defining the audit scope and objectives and creating a comprehensive audit plan

- Seamless execution of audit from kick-off interviews to finalization of Audit reports

- Ensure commitment of an action plan from Business teams to address the identified risks

- Communicate observations to the Senior Management, Audit Committee and Board

Institutional Equities:

- Monitor client category-based limits frameworks / policies - focusing on regulatory requirement, exchange margin computation, calculation method, limit enhancement and blocking criteria

- Surveillance of trade and order limits, focusing on regulatory requirements, calculation method, order size and trade / scrip restrictions

- Setup reports based on Risk limits and handle exceptions in lieu of approval & escalation matrix
