Investment Professional Venture Capital
Key responsibilities:
- Coverage and Managing pipeline of India based Technology VC funds and underlying start-ups
- Preparing and maintaining knowledge databases like Fund universe, Investment evaluation framework
- Evaluating, Researching and Negotiating investments into VC funds and start-ups
- Present and recommend to Investment Committee and Advisory Committee Members
- Active Monitoring of existing portfolio of VC funds and start-ups
- Quarterly reporting, supporting external valuation and fund audits
- Coordinating with various internal corporate teams viz. Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal etc. and portfolio VC Funds and start-ups
- Coordinating in organizing events for LPs, VC Funds, and Indian start-ups
- Creating collaterals for investor communications and supporting future fund-raising activities
Competencies:
- Good presentation and modelling skillset
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of VC Funds and start-up investments, sectoral knowledge
- End to end deal management
Other Qualifications: 10 - 13 years of prior experience, of which at least 6-8 years working with VC fund (s) or Corporate VC arms, Corporate Development / M&A, Ex-technology entrepreneurs Engineers and/or MBA and/or CFA and/or CA and/or CAIA
