Investment Principle - Family Office - Investment Arm

The family office we are working with has done more than 10 strategic investments with a fund of over $150million.

Role Description:

Looking for an investment principle to be the representative of the family office on the board of all the invested companies and the operations leaders across all the organziations. In addition, this person will also be required to evaluated deals for new investments based operations fitment to the core of the business i.e. energy, solar and water sectors.

The fund is a strategic fund, which take majority and some minority stakes in the companies. The person in the role is required to work across the portfolio.

The role requires the person to take/ influence:

(a) Key operations decisions across the invested companies

(b) Key investment decisions across the fund and invested companies

(c) Have a board seat

(d) Report back to the leader chairman

(e) Report back to the fund LP- s

Key Skills:

- Operations experience in industrial sector/ solar/ energy/ water sectors/ eCommerce

- Strategic and operations orientation

- Influence skills

- Board management (nice to have, expectations in future)

- Senior leadership communication

KPIs:

- As per discussion with the board: typically business growth at an agreed rate of IRR, followed by organization/ institution building

Key Deliverables:

- C- level leadership

Expected qualifications:

- Prior experience in scaling operations and understanding of industrial or ecommerce space (batteries, car-parts, heavy machinery et al).

- Some INVESTMENT EXPERIENCE WILL HELP.
