Investment Office Manager - CA - PE Fund

A leading PE fund based in Mumbai is looking at an Investment Manager.

Ideal candidate would be from Financial due diligence/Deal advisory/M&A teams from consulting firms.

This role is responsible for developing and ensuring compliance to systems and processes for the firm and for checking quality and adequacy of the work of the deal team before it reaches the Chief Investing Officer (CIO) and other senior members of the firm.

Work closely with the deal teams and the role offers an opportunity to the candidate to get a first-hand experience of the entire deal making process including development of investment thesis, diligence, documentation etc.

The individual also works closely with the Finance and Business Development teams for periodic fair value assessment of the fund portfolios and investor communication.

Qualifications and Skills Required: An ideal candidate should have-

- CA, first attempt, with 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate M&A or similar

- Good working understanding of finance, accounting, tax and proficiency in building and analysing financial models

- Candidate should be highly organised with ability to work with large amounts of data

- Candidate must have project management skills and ability to multi-task

- Good communication skills

- Team Player and ability to work with people collaboratively

- Very high level of attention to detail
